H&M Teams with Coachella for Festival-Ready Fashion
Coachella has become as much about the fashion as it is about the music. And while it’ll always be a concert — and an arts festival — there is plenty to see if you’re heading to the desert. The festival fashion phenomenon, which you can partly blame Kate Moss for and Hollywood’s PYTs perpetuating the look, has become a huge part of SoCal style. To make getting that coveted Coachella look easier, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has teamed with Swedish fast fashion label for the H&M Loves Coachella collection.
Coachella is one of the most anticipated music events in the country,” an H&M spokeswoman said. “And this collection gives fashion and music lovers the opportunity to be a part of it.”
The capsule collection, which includes options for both guys and girls, hits U.S. stores on March 19, well ahead of the April 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 dates for the festival. Guys will find shorts and graphic tees to keep them cool in the desert heat while gals will have plenty more to choose from.
The collab is a first for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, which has never teamed with any label for co-branded merchandise. The collection will also be sold at the H&M tent during the Coachella festival and naturally, there will be exclusives only on offer at the concert.
Tickets are long sold out, but H&M is offering up a way to win your way into the festival. While shoppers are browsing the H&M Loves Coachella collection, they can bring any unwanted clothing from their closets to to any H&M location. Not only will that simple act of charity earn them a 20% off voucher, but it will also include a chance to win a ticket to the festival. Charity, collaboration and a chance to win? Count us in.
