Mad Men Teams with Birchbox and Birchbox Man
The end is near. Yes, Mad Men‘s final set of episodes is set to air beginning April 5, so we’re all about to see Joan powdering her nose and Betty’s perfect eyeliner for the last time. But before the series finale, AMC and Mad Men are teaming up with Birchbox and Birchbox Man to bring fans one more way to channel the era. For April, Birchbox and Birchbox Man will be offering up a limited edition Mad Men-inspired box that includes picks that’ll help guys and girls alike get the perfect midcentury look.
“Birchbox turned the beauty category on its head and engaged a generation making them an ideal partner for AMC as we head into the final seven episodes of ‘Mad Men,’” Theresa Beyer, senior vice president of promotion, activation and partnership at AMC, told WWD.
Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner worked with Birchbox CEOs Katia Beauchamp and Hayley Barna to select the items in each box.
“We curated a selection of products that captures the flavor of that era while maintaining a modern sensibility – for example, a bold lip in an easy to use pencil and a soft hold paste for a relaxed take on the men’s hairstyles,” Beauchamp added. “Our hope is that this collaboration helps celebrate [the show].”
