Rachel Zoe Makes Over Maternity Wear with a Collection for A Pea in the Pod

Looks from Rachel Zoe for A Pea in the Pod

After having two boys and juggling her celebrity roster and designing her own line, stylist/designer/mother/L.A. resident Rachel Zoe knows a thing or two about comfortable maternity wear. While she was pregnant, Zoe showed no signs of slowing down her styling, her web site or her design, even appearing with a very prominent baby bump on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter, so her new collection for A Pea in the Pod is sure to be the perfect combination of comfort, function and of course, style.

€œAs a mother of two young boys, I understand how important it is to look and feel your best while you€™re expecting and to never sacrifice style for comfort,€ Zoe said.

Zoe is the latest designer to offer up a capsule collection for A Pea in the Pod and Destination Maternity, following in the well-heeled footsteps of women such as Heidi Klum, Nicole Richie and Jessica Simpson.

Rachel Zoe for A Pea in the Pod is, however, Zoe’s first foray into designing maternity wear. Her collection includes a few tailored pieces, but the majority of the capsule line hones in on Zoe’s signature luxe bohemian style. There are caftans, tunics and flowing tops as well as a draped jersey dress that wouldn’t look out of place on one of Zoe’s A-list clients, priced from $98 to $248. The signature look of the collection is a loose, relaxed piece such as the a maxi combined with a tailored jacket or blazer, a look that Zoe is often spotted in (and snapped in) herself.

The Rachel Zoe for A Pea in the Pod collection will be available at A Pea in the Pod locations, Destination Maternity stores and select Macy€™s locations as well as online at www.apeainthepod.com.

The Best Swingy, Light Trench Coats for Under $90

A trench for summer? We know what you’re thinking, and no, we didn’t come down with heat stroke. Even though the sun’s blazing in the day, when it dips below the horizon and that coastal breeze rolls in, you can’t rely on your cover-up to keep you warm.

We found the season’s most unexpected €” and most chic, if we might add €” outerwear option, the soft trench. Forget fall’s structured staple, summer’s version is soft, draped and ultra-feminine. We’ve found plenty to choose from, whether you’re prim and polished or like a little more edge. And because they’re all under $90, feel free to order up another round of margaritas. Cheers to that!
