Hello Kitty Ladur©e Boxes
Leave it to Ladur©e to collaborate with a brand that will bring even more macarons-obsessed droves to their already-packed Madison Avenue outpost. Available now, the new Hello Kitty collaboration offers up their already famous, sorbet-hued macarons in cute (or kawaii, as the kitty herself would say) boxes featuring a portrait of a blushing Hello Kitty framed in trad Ladur©e fashion or peeking around macarons in their most popular flavors.
The latest in a long line of collaborations (previous releases include packaging inspired by Japanese artist and clothing designer Tsumori Chisato, Matthew Williamson, Christian Louboutin and more), the Hello Kitty exclusive is available in four sizes ranging from $20-55 and comes packed with six to 19 pastel-colored macarons. Flip through our slideshow below for a look back at some of the most memorable macaron mashups:

Fashionable collabs aren’t all that Ladur©e is concocting in the kitchens, however.
In Japan, Ladur©e worked with Japanese cosmetics brand Albion and launched Les Merveilleuses Ladur©e, a line of color cosmetics that is as mouthwateringly beautiful as their stores.
Available at department store Mitsukoshi, the range offers everything from lipsticks that dangle with the famed Ladure©e cameo to a blush that’s made to resemble a petite container of rose petals. The day of its launch, the collection had fans of confections and cosmetics lining up for hours. The full range includes lipsticks, brushes, foundations, cream and powder blushes and powders. Each and every item is housed in white-and-gold containers resembling Faberg© eggs, vintage hatboxes and more. The powder compacts even come with lace sifters and the fluffiest powder puffs. No detail’s been spared to bring the entire Ladur©e experience to your vanity. Here’s hoping the collection comes stateside!
